The University of Nairobi’s 55th graduation ceremony will be held on September 2nd, 2016. This was announced by the graduation committee after a meeting held on 23rd June, 2016 at the Confucius Institute, Education Building.
Preparations for the ceremony which is set to see over 14,000 students graduate with PhDs, degrees and diplomas from different disciplines have started in earnest.

In last year’s ceremony held in December, UoN awarded 8,861 degrees and diplomas to students drawn from its six colleges with campuses spread across the country.
This year’s grandaunds will be drawn from colleges of Education and External Studies (CEES), Biological and Physical Sciences (CBPS), Architecture and Engineering (CAE) and Agriculture and Veterinary Studies (CAVS).
