A special visitation panel set up by the University of Nairobi Chancellor, Dr Vijoo Rattansi has toured the College of Humanities and Social Sciences (CHSS).
The panel chaired by Prof. Margaret Kobia who is also the Chairperson of the Public Service Commission is mandated to assess and evaluate the performance of various colleges across the university in a bid to galvanize the University of Nairobi’s brand as a world class institution of higher learning in Africa and the world.

During the tour of the college, the visitation panel interviewed members of staff as well students and also inspected various facilities including computer laboratories, libraries, staff offices and lecture halls among others.

The panel was welcomed by CHSS principal, Prof. Enos Njeru and College Registrar Dr. Joseph Obosi among other senior college management officials.
