The Institute for Development Studies (IDS), University of Nairobi and the Afrobarometer will launch results from the Kenya Round 7 Survey on public perception on democracy and democratic processes in Kenya as well as the state of the economy.  The launch will take place on Wednesday 25th January 2017 at the Nairobi Safari Club (Lillian Towers) from 10.am.

The Institute for Development Studies, University of Nairobi, hosted 29 teachers from Denmark for a lecture on Kenya’s development. The Danish teachers visited the University on 17th January 2017.  Prof Karuti Kanyinga, the IDS Associate Director, provided an overview of Kenya’s development trends since independence. He noted that development has often been interlinked to various regimes.
